Wedding Gift Idea: I just recently read about Terramundi Wedding Pots. Once the first coin is dropped into your money pot, you must continue feeding it until it's full. At that time, you smash the pot while making a wish. Included with your pot is a special slip of paper, on which you'll record your wish and the date and then drop into the pot along with your first coin. What a great way to save up for that expensive honeymoon you never got to take! I love the idea of arranging a date night every Friday with champagne, chocolate, and an old movie. Agree that each of you saves $15 in spare cash every week and puts it in the jar every date night. At the end of five years you'll have saved $7800!
Thank you Victoria for sharing these wonderful wedding gift ideas.
As anyone who knows me will attest, I LOVE hearts. The day it was pointed out I had hearts on everything from my shoes to my earrings, I knew that a threshold had been crossed. Not exactly professional. Not exactly adult.
My new, socially acceptable outlet, is hearts on everything but me. Totally fine, right? I thought so. Here are some cutie pie picks, just in time for the International Day of LOVE.
PS. It was only after I did this round up that I realized that 100% of these heart items belongs in the kitchen. I guess the old adage hold true – the quickest way to someone's heart is through their stomach. Are you whipping up anything special for your loved one next weekend?

Every year I like to send a little something to all my gal friends for Valentine’s Day. This year I whipped up some simply painted wooden postcards from discontinued boards I had around the design studio.
Afterwords, I glued a couple patterned paper hearts…
tied on a velvet ribbon and glued some paper on the back to write a lovely Valentine message. Then I popped them in the mail as is. I hope these colorful cards will give my girlfriends a good grin when they get the mail this weekend.

A review reads, "With rapturous romanticism and over-the-top, heart-on-sleeve emotion, Matt Nathanson can't decide whether he wants to be U2's Bono (particularly on the opening "Car Crash") or John Mayer (with whom he's toured as an opening act). Though his roots are in the folk coffeehouse, he plainly has his ears aimed toward the rock arena." —Don McLeese
