my plymouth art fair picks
For the first time in a long while, I got to attend the Plymouth Art Fair. Normally Steve & I are always at the Atlanta Gift show during the dates, but since there are 5 weekends in July… it didn't overlap this year.
So, my 1st stop was Heart to Heart. I bought one of thier fantastic bird house stakes a few years ago and my mom always comments how she loves it. And since this is one of the few Michigan show they do – I nabbed one for her birthday this July!
Lucky Steve got to carry it around the fair. A few passer-by comments included… "So how many birds have landed on you?" "Nice walking stick" and "Where is that booth!?"
What a trooper;) Just another reason why I love him.
Burlap has never looked so chic at the Burlap Boutique.
Lots of fun frills at Thrifty Trixie.
Wonderfully whimsy creations by Jelli Beans & Rosebuds
Hip collars for hot dogs – Dog Gone It
Vintage looking with a modern flair – Go Jump in the Lake signs
Simply fantastic handbags by The Poppy Bag Co.
He He He:) Silly signs & such by Tammy Floyd.
Love the flowery jewelry by Chloe Lane Studio.
Fabulous funky finds at Flossa Boutique
And I must say… I was totally impressed with the student artist section. Such clever entrepreneurial gals!
Trisha makes juice box wallets, posy pens & classic pot holders.
Natalie's balloon embellished flip flops were very popular.
Amy & Jenna even sell their cute creatures on Etsy!
And Elizabeth is quite the card maker!
After all that shopping, you're bound to work up an appetite. I highly recommend stopping by Simple Sandwich. I think they make some of the tastiest sandwiches around town.

Very cool blog and an excellent report. I never go to Plymouth because it is so ‘crafty’ (not in a nice way) — but this looks great. I see some excellent artists I know in your blog roll… love to have you stop by the Great Lakes Art Fair in Novi in October. Interested? I’ll get you some tickets.
