how do you make your handmade valentines?
Since we're collecting handmade Valentine cards from our firefly fans to distribute at local assisted living homes, we thought we'd share some clever ideas from Miss Martha and Disney's Family Fun.
I like how these pretties were created from simple things like pencils, cupcake liners, left-over candy canes from Christmas, conversation hearts, dum dum suckers and cut up paper doilies. Click HERE to see all of Martha's card ideas and HERE to see what Family Fun has cooked up.
And if crafting is not your forte, we also have created some festive clip art you can use to create a cute card.
And for the kids that like to color, print this sweet sheet.
We'll be collecting and displaying your handcrafted cards at our Berkley & Rochester locations until February 11. And if you don't live near by and want to participate, please send your cards to: catching fireflies 3117 W 12 Mile Berkley, MI 48072.
When you bring or send in 3 or more cards, we'll give you this heart photo magnet with any purchase to thank you for helping us spread love and joy in our community. (for online orders, please mention your participation in this project so we can include the free magnet in your shipment.) *1 free magnet per family
