another great magazine gone
First Mary Engelbreit Home Companion, now Cottage Living too? Apparently I'm in the minority when it comes to magazine subscriptions since my two favorite are no longer available. So sad.
Since I'm in the market for some new monthly reads…what magazines do you read for a little inspiration?
Hi April-I also share your sorrow..I looked forward to Cottage Living every month. My neighbor actually purchased a bunch of old Cottage LIvings off ebay. You probably have seen it but now I am reading Domino-a little more funky but still pretty good. Are you familiar with Chinaberry and Isabella Catalogs-they sell books, toys, things for the soul. Even though it is a catalog it reads like a magazine…I love it.
I have been an M.E. magazine reader/collector…for MANY years! I am SO glad that over the years, it is the one publication I have refused to part with!!!
For the past couple of years, I have really been enjoying “Quilting Arts” and “Cloth-Paper-Scissors”. They both offer a HUGE range of artist profiles, creative ideas and lessons (and the pictures are REALLY fun to look at). Recently, they’ve added “Studios”.
I L-O-V-E all three!
– joy :-]
I know…what are we gonna do without M.E., Cottage Living & Country Home!? I do have a good one for you though…Boho Magazine. It’s superb. I also love all of Stampington & Co. publications, especially Artful Blogging and Somerset Life. Happy new year to you!
Thanks for all your sweet suggestions. Looks like I have a trip to Borders Books in my near future!
Hi, I like the Hallmark magazine. It’s kind of neat. You should pick one up. Brenda
