I was dialing around the radio this weekend and heard this haunting voice on 93.9 The River and thought it was worth sharing.
A review reads, "Having not released this, his debut solo album, until the relatively advanced age of 30, Scott Matthews has had plenty of time to absorb a whole raft of influences, and he’s acquired some interesting ones. Essentially a blues-based singer-songwriter with a penchant for the late Sixties, together with the more-or-less-expected bits of folk and rock. Matthews’ vocals, indebted to Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake, are also a little too mannered on occasion. But he’s produced something a little left field, a little different, and it makes for an interesting listen." -Jeremy Searle
